China’s Human Development Index: Progress And Ranking
The Human Development Index (HDI) is a composite statistic of life expectancy, education, and per capita income indicators used to rank countries into four tiers of human development. As of 2019, China had an HDI score of 0.758, placing it in the high human development category.
